Maria Fender
Maria’s path into training as a supervisor and therapist came after moving to Bath two decades ago, stepping back from a career in Business Banking. Since then, she has found working in the field of mental health and wellbeing hugely rewarding.
Therapy and supervision has greatly supported her own growth as an individual and professional and she strongly believes in its power to enable growth and resilience in all areas of a person’s life. Her supervision practice reflects her relational style of work and she is delighted to be able to extend this to support the Family Law profession as a member of the FLiP Faculty.
Maria has a thriving practice in central Bath offering law, group and therapeutic supervision, and psychotherapy to individuals and couples. She also balances her private practice with being a course tutor at BCPC in Bath, where she gained her MA and Diploma in Psychotherapy.
